According to the United Nation's World Cities Report released in 2008, it is estimated that Lagos is populated with about fifteen million people, coming close to Cairo, Egypt ! However, the figure is expected to rise to twenty-five million by the year 2025 if the growth of rural-urban migration remain unchecked!

The implication of this projection is that, Lagos is one the top-most growing cities in the world with unmatched infrastructural development and, will  top the list of  the most populated cities in Africa by 2050!......

Lagos, a city created, built by the Lagoon and close to the Atlantic has a long history of culture and politics.!
It is populated by all Nigerians, loved by all Nigerians irrespective of ethinic affinity.

Till 1991, during the military era, Lagos was the political capital of Nigeria.
Now a commmercial capital, Lagos was planned as a mega city from its creation in 1967 after the colonial days but it is now sick of infrastructural dilapidation and congestion!
 Yet, the texture of its daily life is funny and dramatic!

Virtually all known human drama have played out in Lagos-good,ugly and bad!
And the slogan- 'This is Lagos' is a cautious meaning of how tick this mega-city is.
